saintbeowulf asked:

1.Why does Electronic Art let people mod its Command and Conquer games? It is because I always thought most,if not all video game studios don’t want their game to be hack into.

2.Did Westwood let people mod its Command and Conquer games back in the old days?

3.What website do you recommend to go download all of the available Command and Conquer mods?

All games, all developers allow their products to be modded to an extent. Special maps with special units, Custom guns on custom maps, Addons that offer non-hack additions, ect.

If it effects other peoples play, ie you download an aimbot for Unreal, then its a hack.

If it changes the gameplay or characters but doesn’t effect players negatively, ie Construction mod for Tribes 2, then its a Mod.

If it adds new content, ie DPS Meter for World of Warcraft, then its an addon.
