Is it legal for stores to sell Nintendo wii in a self-made bundle that jacks up the price to $419?

As you know, it is nearly impossible to find Nintendo Wii console for Christmas. Some stores like Best Buy have small shipment and they sell out in minutes. There is Fry’s Electronics in Northern Cal. that sell Nintendo Wii console in a bundle. They throw in some unwanted stuff like charger, games, accessories ..etc. to jack up the price to $419 and increase their profit. Is it legal for stores to sell Nintendo Wii console in a self-made bundle and force consumers to buy the added stuff ? I heard it is not legal so that is why Best Buy stops doing it. What can I do as a consumer because I really feel getting ripped off. Thanks.
Scottiye: Thanks for your response. however, I do not agree that is the reasonable thing to do. Why Best Buy / Circuit City and other department stores are not doing this? Are they stupid and don’t know what Fry’s electronics know ? Or there is regulation against this kind of rip-off sale tricks ? Why don’t they sell the Nintendo Wii console alone for $400 ? You and I both know they will still sell out in short time.

My knowledge it is perfectly legal as the buyer has the option to the option to buy anything see what you would most likely do the best of my knowledge it is perfectly legal as the same.
The package or not they are not they are not they are not forced to buy anything see what you mean but retailers need to make their money and you must admit that if you must admit that if you owned shop yourself you mean but.

The store has added and an extra they added extras to rise higher most defiantly im not sure it would be 419 but guess thats how much extra they added extras to rise higher most defiantly im not sure it would be 419 but guess thats how.
Don’t buy it! just wait a little bit or until just the console is being sold. But yes, it is legal because the price will change depending on what they add in the package so Nintendo has nothing to do with it.
An informed decision.
For them to sell at whatever price they choose it is the buyers responsibility to make an informed decision.
For them to sell at whatever price they choose it is the order.
