   Im guessing because places like japan have quite a Big market and most of the company’s originate from that side of the world anyway so its no wonder they are released there first.

   A lot of games and game systems are created in Asia (especially Japan) so they would release it in their country and countries near them. Then, they would have to ship thousands and thousands of games to other countries which takes a while.
