I live in Jamaica and video games are too expensive so bought the PSone in America in December 2000. I got two European games from my sister and I cannot play them, so I gave the system to an electronics store and they “fixed it” by putting a mod-chip in the system so that it can read it. Now I can’t play my Dino Crisis because a banner in the Japanese language pops up on the screen probably saying i can’t play it because of the mod-chip. The European games are now readable to the system but the screen jumps because I need a certain type of television to play it on (the irony). Not only that but the electronics store says they do not fix games anymor. So what are the methods can I do it to play my Dino Crisis?

Oh I love the PS2, its the PSP and the PS3 I can’t understand, why cram all the crappy PS1 games no one really liked the first time around into a finnicky little handheld, and why make a new PlayStation when the PS2 still has awesome looking graphics, and a huge library of games to pick from?
I don’t know about the PS3, I still think the PS2 is plenty kicka-ss as a video game console, plus its impossible to find a demo PS3 in a store to check it out firsthand to see just whether it is and improvement over the PS2 which IMO would be tough to outdo. The scarcity of a demo PS3 display in any store I usually go to makes me feel like they are worried people will find out its bogus, but BEFORE they blow $500 on one to find out.
