Hey, I just got a job at a store selling electronics, specifically televisions, computer game consoles, computer games and ipods.
So basically I’m just after just hints and tips, maybe some one liners that would help me seal the deal with any customers. How can I make the customers feel confident in me?
The work ISN’T commission based I’m just hoping to make a good first impression on my employees.
Many Thanks
Ezequiel

The hazard of watching DVDs/playing video games inside of a car?
Filed Under consumer electronics games | 3 Comments
Well, many vehicles nowadays offer consumers the option of watching DVDs or even playing video games inside their own cars while driving. But has anyone considered the dangers of doing this?
No, I’m not talking about the “distraction” that it may cause. I’m talking about the danger posed to the longevity of the discs themselves.
It’s no secret that the polycarbonate plastic of all optical discs can be potentially damaged by diesel oil or gasoline. If you need confirmation on this, simply go to the “polycarbonate” entry on Wikipedia and look under “interaction with other chemicals.”
That said, you should know that while inside a car, especially if the windows are open, you can smell the heavy exhaust gas that cars emit. Obviously, the smell will be even stronger when you’re parked or in areas on the road where many cars are present.
If you can smell the gas in the air, that means molecules exist in the air, and they can then settle on anything in the car, including any discs you may have out in the open. They could also enter any devices intended to play these discs through the vents, holes, and openings that all electronics have.
Seems like a recipe for disaster for your beloved DVDs.
